North Carolina cities are among the best in the country in which to purchase a home, according to a recent WalletHub report. Amid large cities, Raleigh and Charlotte ranked #6 and #7, respectively. Among midsize cities, Cary came in at #3 and Durham at #6. Greensboro trailed in 53th place.
In order to determine the best real-estate markets, WalletHub compared 300 cities across two key dimensions, “Real-Estate Market” and “Affordability & Economic Environment.”
WalletHub evaluated those dimensions using 17 relevant metrics of housing market attractiveness and economic strength, each of which was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the healthiest housing market.
